InMensa is a web-based software application designed for the automated and centralized collection of meal reservations and real-time canteen management.
InMensa can also be used in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode, meaning the program is accessible from any PC connected to the internet without time or location restrictions.
WHO IS IT FOR?
HOW MEAL RESERVATION AND CANTEEN MANAGEMENT WORK
Each user can log into the program by entering a username and password from their workstation. Alternatively, access is possible from a public terminal equipped with a touchscreen and badge reader, simply by scanning their attendance badge.
The user then selects their preferred dishes. Menus can be imported from external files, possibly provided by the catering company, and can vary in detail — from a simple dish description with a recognition code, to photos, calorie contents, ingredients, and even special notes tailored to individual users (food intolerances, religious restrictions, etc.).
The program allows sending the reservation file to the internal or external catering company. Alternatively, a PDF file listing valid reservations can be printed and delivered to the kitchen.
The system is highly customizable. It is possible to set the reservation time frame, the dishes selectable or not by users (depending on the maximum budget available to each), and the deadline for changing an already made reservation.
InMensa is multilingual and integrates with other software present in the company.
