Ongoing instruction for correct PPE usage - TC CONSOLLE

According to Legislative Decree No. 81 of April 9, 2008 about health and safety in the workplace, employer has to ensure ongoing training, information and instruction for workers regarding the correct use of PPE. 

TC Consolle enables continuous updates and training on the correct use of second and third category PPE and of any equipment that may endanger employee health and safety.

There is more: it can also be used to inform visitors about proper behavior during their stay within the company.

TRAINING VIDEO AND TESTS

After displaying a video learning unit, TC Console verifies the understanding by submitting to the user a multiple-choice test, results of which are permanently stored.

AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL ENROLLMENT IN LEARNING UNITS

The system can automatically enroll personnel in specific learning units based on the type of PPE they need to withdraw from the TOMWORK12 vending machine; alternatively, supervisors can manually enroll workers via the Sesamo PSM software.

COURSE HISTORY

Training must be documented and recorded.

Thanks to TC Console, all mandatory and company-assigned training courses are stored inside Sesamo PSM Software which sends to the supervisor, updates concerning course completion status.

Examples of TC Console use::

• To remind users how to correctly wear PPE such as earplugs or protective masks

• To instruct users on the safe use of machine tools and how to disable safety systems for routine cleaning or extraordinary maintenance

• To show specific videos to forklift operators

• To give proper instructions to first aid responders and emergency evacuation teams

WHEN IS TRAINING MANDATORY?

1. When specified in the Risk Assessment Document (DVR) as a preventive measure against specific risks

2. In the case of new hires or changes in job roles

3. When new equipment are introduced

4. When operations involve the use of dangerous substances

5. When PPE or devices that require specific procedures are used
