InMensa - Canteen reservation system PDF Print E-mail
inmensa

The program InMensa was born to allow meals reservation via PC network in a fully web environment. InMensa allows to book meals for a long period of time of several days depending on the needs of the customer.

Among its objectives, INMENSA centralizes in a correct way all bookings that flow every day to the "Kitchen” serving the factory canteen. Each user who will use this system at any level, can access from anywhere in the world through a standard Internet connection using a browser. Each connected user can insert his own reservation (can be aggregated or individual), and can also be able to process outputs and reports to analyze at any time.

User

"User" means any person authorized to enter the program Inmensa with password or badge. In a standard application the user can be: the consumer, the manager of the canteen and the factory administrator.

Password management and reports

Each user will have his own password or badge that will allow the access to modules of the program to which he is enabled. For example, once the user has entered the program INMENSA, he can book one or more meals and also see what he has booked a few days earlier. Also he could have the monthly report of the meals with the expensive specifications.

Menu

Each user will be able to view on screen or print the desired weekly or daily menu.

Menu interface

The menu can be imported via file from the Catering Company and can automatically create the menu available for reservation. The amount of time for the reservation and menu specifications are completely programmable.

Use of badge readers

The system is able to use as an input device magnetic badge readers or transponder readers with USB port or RS232 protocol.

Totem

The system is programmed to receive input from totem with touch screen technology (video and badge readers).

Infomensa

It consists in an additional PC workstation installed in the canteen connected via USB port to a magnetic card reader or proximity reader. When the employee approaches his card to the reader, the person in charge of the distribution of the meal, can view the exact order for that specific day and confirm at the same time the meal consumption.
