The TAG with suction cup is applied directly on the windshield of the vehicle. There are three different TAGs:
- TAG always active. When the vehicle enters the range of the Antenna (about 10 meters) and if it respects all access rules such a time enabling, the gate will open allowing the passage of the vehicle without stopping.
- TAG with activation on request. The TAG has a switch button. You must push the button to activate data transmission when you are in the range of the Antenna. Even in this case the entrance activation is allowed only if access rules are respected. The TAG with switch button is used when the parking area is near the Antenna. The button pushing activates TAG code transmission only for a while allowing to park even in the range of the Antenna.
- TAG combined vehicle+driver. The combined system allows to check the driver and the vehicle before enabling the entrance or exit from the gate. This working condition allows to make company parking safer avoiding thefts. In fact the driver has a personal badge used for time & attendance or pedestrians access control system (it is necessary 125 KHz or MiFare technology). Inside the car the combined TAG is placed on the windshield using its proper suction. At the entrance near the Antenna the user must approach his pass on the combined TAG, which will send its code (vehicle) and pass code (driver) to the system. Only the verification of both values and compliance enabling tables will allow the gate opening.
The combined system is often used in car fleet company management where each vehicle can be used by different people (technical, sales, etc.). In this case each vehicle will be coupled to all possible users and the system will record entrance and exit of each user, maintaining a real time monitoring of the situation. By installing the Keyco Management Software Module, the system allows the exit only to the user who has taken the key vehicle out of Keyco Boxes and possibly did a key booking.
The Veichular access control system can be integrated with IP cameras that record images on special DVR supports. In case of need the Sesamo access control system is able to pick the video based on the exact moment of the passage.
