INDACO is a new conceived Web application for collecting data of factory production in real time. Its peculiarity is to be a collection system of data through a real "Web Site", using a network browser for navigation within the program.
The choice to use a web interface allows you to access the data required by a simple Internet connection and input any sort of data even from remote locations all around the globe.
The internal network structure is based on TCP/IP communication protocol and the installation of the program requires only Windows Oparating System and Internet Explorer or similar (Client). INDACO relies on SQL Server database. The Base license installed allows to use the free version of SQL Express avoiding the purchase of the license of SQL Server.
The application is the main instrument for data collection of factory production in real time. Also it allows to perform researches and reports fully programmable (standard or customized) over all the collected data.
Users to whom it is dedicated are: on one hand, the operators of production (workers, both internal and external contractors coordinated) which will register, with the appropriate module of the program and through various types of physical interface, the timing process, the used resources and the number of parts produced and rejected at each stage of production. On the other hand, the Production Manager (assisted by the department managers) can establish the parameters of the setting of information that is necessary to gather and that he could manage at any time, monitor the progress of each WO, and produce statistical reports to view general data or specific information. To the last category of users belong all customers who may be enabled to see the progress of their specific orders directly using an Internet connection.
The program also allows to easily upload and download data with both management and accounting software applications already used by the industrial company, in order to import or export in a semi-automatic way lists of employees, list of processes (or their stages) to be tested, and finally export the measured and recorded timeframe to the host.
